![]() ![]() PSA: No, I didn't waste all that money on computers, (except the main one) my server cost $40, the intel NUC was my old PC (although then it had 8GB of ram, I gave the bigger stick of ram to a person who really needed it), my laptop is used and the second PC is really cheap. The last new(er) pc I built was for my nephew and was Gen 8 I7 and looking back at the manual I see it doesn't list EPS just a 8 Pin ATX 12V and did a few Ryzen boards list the same or a EATX 12v. The motherboard spec does list the 8 Pin connector to be a EPS 12v. I have been googling like mad trying to figure if they are compatible or if CM is just calling it something different or whatever. It's supposed to be arriving today and I was double checking the specs and all that and I realized it doesn't list a EPS 8 or EPS 4+4 pin, but lists a CPU 12v 4+4 pin. a Cooler Master MasterWatt 750 Watt MPX-7501-AMAAB-US. I was able to power up my system with a 450 watt psu ( with a EPS 4+4) I keep lying around for testing and my system boots up and all, but with my RTX 2060 I don't believe it'd be stable. My current power supply is a Seasonic SSR-500GB3 and it recently died. So, I currently have a x99 system with a EVGA X99 Micro2 board with a E5-1650 V3 cpu. ![]()
